5000mAh Built-In Cable Keychain Power Bank

The friend who always arrives at four percent is the easiest person on your list. This is a 5000mAh battery the size of a keyring fob, 3.74 by 2.76 inches and 132 grams, with two cables tucked into the body and a round magnetic pad on the face for a smartwatch. Nothing has to be packed separately, which is the entire point of it. Six colours mean you can pick one that looks chosen rather than grabbed.

• Cables Are Built In: Both tuck back into the case, so there is nothing extra to lose.
• Clips to a Keyring: The metal ring rides on a bag strap or a set of house keys.
• Lighter Than a Phone: At 132 grams it weighs less than the handset it charges.
• Six Colours: Pink, purple, green, blue, white and black cover most tastes.
• Who It Suits: Right for a commuter or a festival goer, not an all day desk charger.

Note: Check which cable ends the recipient's phone and earbuds actually take before you buy, since the wrong connector makes it useless to them. Charge it before you wrap it so it works the moment it is opened. Lithium batteries must not be placed in checked airline baggage, do not leave it in a hot car, and stop using it if the case swells or runs hot.
